How to resume suspended process and instances after re-deployment of a process on the same revision (Doc ID 2221539.1)

Goal

After a redeployment of a BPM Process with a compatible change on the same Revision ID with “Keep running instances on redeploy” (or "Keep running instances on after redeployment") option, you might find that new instances of the process cannot be created and the execution of existing instances fails with an error such as:

This is not a defect, but the result of an intended limitation in the migration of running instances of a redeploy process. In other words, is part of the life cycle of a process.
