WebLogic StdOut Messages Cannot Output To Server.Out File Specified By -Dweblogic.Stdout (Doc ID 2221704.1)

Symptoms

On WebLogic Server 12.1.3 - the standard out messages do not get written in the configured .out file configured through the Admin Console 'Server Start' tab  

Example :-  

With the above configured; standard output messages still go to default server log directory'<MW_HOME>/user_projects/domains/<Domain_Name>/servers/<server_name>/logs', and does not output to above configured '/<path>/<server_name>.out' file.
