Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version 12.2.1.4.200123 to 12.2.1.4.201011
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.x Studio, users are unable to change their own password via the Change Password button, and the "Enter new Password" checkbox is disabled.

The password modification works when the "User / Edit..." method, or "SECURITY ADMIN" user profile or "Supervisor Access Privileges" are granted.

However, with this method, profile or role granted the user is also able to change the passwords of other users, which is not desired.

Changes

Recently upgraded to ODI 12.2.1.x.
