You have a Oracle Internet Directory as our LDAP store for our user administration. From your application you connect to the OID and retrieve the usernames and other attributes using ldapsearch.
Your OID stores the attribute values in lowercase or mixed case. But your application requires the attribute values only in UPPERCASE.
You cannot afford to do any changes on OID side, as this is a central repository for all other applications. Also, you cannot afford to change anything on application side as the changes to be done time consuming.
Is there a way you can format the ldapsearch output to retrieve the results in UPPERCASE?
You went through some options mentioned but could not find anything particular to this.
