Symptoms
After upgrading from ODI 11.1.1.7 to 12.2.1.1 and migrating to TEST environment, string function used in mapping uses TARGET table name instead of SOURCE table.
In the mapping, if any transformation is using STRING function, like LTRIM, the mapping sets as TARGET.COLUMN instead of SOURCE.COLUMN causing execution to fail with the following error:
