SOURCEISTABLE Extract Is Consuming All Memory On System, O/s Is Killing The Process (Doc ID 2226993.1)

Using GG version for MySQL, running on a RHEL 6 Linux x86_64 bit platform, extract uses a large amount of storage and then terminates before it completes.

Memory steady state before start of extract...

  total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 7.7G 2.5G 5.2G 16K 12M 57M
-/+ buffers/cache: 2.4G 5.3G
Swap: 1.0G 1.0G 12K

Memory while SOURCEISTABLE extract is running just before it is killed...
