Symptoms

This web application works fine under previous versions of Java 1.8.x.
After installing 1.8.0_121 to the server, a particular request/response runs and it renders the application server unusable.

The error_log file shows the following stack :

 

Changes

JDK got upgraded from a previous 1.8.x to the latest 1.8.0_121.

138352-03 Solaris patch got applied as part of the recommended Solaris patches.
