EJB:011224 Error Occurs While Deploying An ADF Project (Doc ID 2231405.1)

Symptoms

12.2.1.1.0 version

Using JDeveloper to deploy a pure ADF project to weblogic 12c, the following error occurs:

The error is not generated when deploying on WebLogic  11g.

Changes

WebLogic 11g just ignored the EJBs embedded in war files because they were not in the J2EE specification.

In Weblogic 12c EJBs in war files are supported, but when this error is reported it is because their definition conflicts inside the application itself.
