ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After upgrading to WCS 12.2.1.2, we have noticed that some of our Flexible assets, that include Parents using Parent Select Style set to Select Box, are now getting the first item in the select box selected by default while in 11g it displays --None Selected-- by default.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Select Box to have no value (--None Selected--) selected by default.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define a flex family
2. Define a flex parent definition, and use Select Box for parent select style.
3. Create at least 1 flex parent asset using the flex parent definition.
4. Define a flex definition, with the parent definition included as a required field.
5. Create a flex asset using the flex definition, and observe the default select box value.

Changes

Upgrade from 11g to 12c.
