ESSO Password Reset version 188.8.131.52.1
ESSO-PR Error When Attempting to Reset Password Without Network Connection
After upgrading ESSO Password Reset from patch p23026970_111230_Generic on the password reset server the users receive an unexpected error message when attempting to change their password when the network is disconnected.
"The reset server is not accessible because the network is disconnected. Do you want to continue anyways?" and "the server is not accessible. Please contact your system administrator, the server name or address could not be resolved"
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Upgrade the ESSO-PR client to version 184.108.40.206.1.
- Click the "Forgot your password? Click here to reset it" link on Windows computer is disconnected from the network.
The error message appears indicating that the reset server is inaccessible. This is an unexpected message since it was not present in the older version.
