Assignee Field Is Blank When BPM Tasks Complete in 12c (Doc ID 2232262.1)

Goal

It is seen that the “Assignees” column is blank for tasks which have completed. This was not the case in 11g. What changes occurred in 12c that cause this, and is there a way to change it back?
