Applies to:
Oracle Coherence - Version 12.1.2.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In the Coherence 12.1.2.0.0 cluster coherence node going unresponsive. One of the coherence nodes becomes unresponsive, causing what appears to be a deadlock to the rest of the nodes in the cluster. No traffic is handled until this node is either manually/forcefully removed from the cluster. The customer has enabled the Service Guardian to handle this unresponsiveness, but Production Customers still see impact for ~5mins before/after the Service Guardian handles that node in the form of application disconnects and application errors due to timing out to Coherence.
