OSB MQ Transport - CorrelationID is being corrupted when sent to Websphere MQ
Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2017
Applies to:
Oracle Service Bus - Version 12.1.3.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In OSB, MQ transport headers can be optionally added in the pipeline. These headers can include the MQ CorrelationId.
If the message has been sent to Websphere MQ by OSB (MQPUT), and a standalone application receives it using the MQ classes (C++ or Java libraries), then when decoded, the CorrelationID may appear corrupted or incorrect.
When a standalone application sends the same CorrelationId, the receiving application is able to correctly decode the CorrelationId
