Goal

In OAM Console in UserIdentificationPlugin configuration page  characters '<' and '>' are not allowed in the field KEY_LDAP_FILTER.
For example, if using (&(uid={KEY_USERNAME})(value < 5)) as filter, getting error:

"Error: Input String is not valid
The input string should not contain invalid characters."

This is a known limitation of OAM Console which will be fixed as part of ER <BUG:25024203>.

How to overcome this limitation?
