Group Search Results Are Cached In Override Security And May Prevent Update (Doc ID 2239061.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Group Search breaks when one first searches for a group within one management area of a Portal and then attempt to perform a group search in a different management area of the Portal.


  Execute a group search within the Portal Members area.
  Navigate to a page properties area for a page within the portal and select Override Security.
  Attempt to perform a search for a group to grant access to the page.
  The groups from the search at the Portal level are displayed and you cannot enter a new search.
