ODI 12.2.1.0.0 and 12.2.1.4 Certification Matrix Incorrectly Listed Metadata Lineage Support for OBIEE 12.2.1+ (Doc ID 2241436.1)

Details

The Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.0.0 certification matrix and 12.2.1.4 certification matrix documents incorrectly listed metadata lineage support for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12.2.1+, which was never certified by the ODI QA team.

The OBIEE metadata lineage has been deprecated in ODI 12c and will be unsupported from upcoming releases (PS4).

Please note:  The 12.2.1.0 certification matrix has been adjusted to show the correct certifications for the respective versions of OBIEE Metadata lineage but the 12.2.1.4 matrix is still showing the incorrect mention.

Actions

It is recommended that Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) is used in place of OBIEE Metadata lineage for future versions of ODI.
