Why Using Forgot Password In OAAM Directly in an OIM/OAM/OAAM environment does not work. (Doc ID 2242231.1)

Qn1:Is there a way we can use forgot password directly in OAAM?  We have OIM/OAM and OAAM integrated together.

I tried using http://hostname:port/forgotPassword.do. It goes through all the process, it lets enter password, however it does not redirect to the url from which it was clicked. Instead it throws error "There was some technical error processing your request. Please try again
