Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) 11g and Oracle Identity Governace (OIG) 12c: How To Remove OIM Account Entity Object In "Provisioned" Status When Account Natively Deleted On Target (Doc ID 2244369.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 19, 2022

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The goal of this document is to provide the steps needed to set an OIM target account entity object from "Provisioned" to "Revoked" status due to the actual account on the target resource already being deleted natively.

Out of the box, there is no way to change an OIM account entity object's status from "Provisioned" to "Revoked" by using the "Remove Accounts" option if the account was natively removed.  You could run a connectors delete user recon job (if it exists) but these jobs are run again all target accounts and have no filter (however a new scheduled task can be created and filter specified with class oracle.iam.connectors.icfcommon.recon.SearchReconDeleteTask).
