Symptoms
After upgrading from WFR 11.1.1.8.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 the system was working until the installation was changed to include the FineReader11 engine. Now there is no application associated to open files with the ".sdp" file extension. Additionally there is an error when attempting to load the Runtime Services Manager (where RTS instances are managed). The error in the Runtime Services Manager is:
MMC could not create the snap-in
MMC could not create the snap-in. The snap-in might not have been installed correctly.
