NetSuite JDBC Driver Fails To Connect With ODI 12.2.1 Standalone Agent (Doc ID 2247002.1)

The use of the NetSuite JDBC driver with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.x standalone Agent fails at connection time, and following error is signaled:

Caused by: Internal network error, connection closed. Session aborted due to network problems. Error establishing socket to host and port: Reason: Password must not be null

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: [NetSuite][SuiteAnalytics Connect JDBC Driver]Insufficient information to log on the database. Missing parameters are: PASSWORD.

Note the connection to same Data Server, and using the same NetSuite JDBC driver succeeds when using:

  • ODI 12.2 internal / No Agent...
  • ODI 12.2 J2EE Agent...
  • ODI 12.1.3 or ODI 11g internal / No Agent, standalone, or J2EE Agent...

The failure is specific to ODI 12.2.x standalone Agent.
