MsgBox Does Not Fire in UserExitVerifierFormLoad or UserExitBatchOpen Events (Doc ID 2247230.1)

Goal

A customer has a requirement to display a popup message when a certain validation validation criteria is met. This needs to be displayed when the user opens the document.  The MsgBox does not seem to fire in the "UserExitVerifierFormLoad" or "UserExitBatchOpen" events, but this works correctly in the thick client.  Is there an alternative to MsgBox that will work in the Web Verifier Client?
