ISW functionality broken following upgrade to BP 11.1.1.7.160719

Symptoms

Following the upgrade to BP 11.1.1.7.160719, ISW stopped functioning with errors similar to the following:


[05/Dec/2016:00:02:19.040 -0500] SEVERE 10 CNN101 CLOUD "Failed to establish a connection to the Sun Java(TM) System Message Queue Broker because of a JMSException: com.sun.messaging.jms.JMSSecurityException: [C4084]: User authentication
failed: CNN101"

 

[07/Dec/2016:10:00:39 EST] ERROR javax.naming.CommunicationException: xxx.xxx:7636 [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect]:
javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: javax.naming.CommunicationException:xxx.xxx:7636 [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect]
[07/Dec/2016:10:00:39 EST] [B1066]: Closing: ???@xxx.xxx.xxx.xx 0->ssljms:0 because "java.net.SocketException: Socket is closed". Count: service=0 broker=0
