Symptoms

Error when running a search using OTSSortFields:

Can also be reproduced via these steps after archive deletion of content:

  1. Add the variable OTSSortFields in the config.cfg file, configuration section OTSSortFields=dDocName,dDocTitle,dDocAuthor,dReleaseDate.
  2. Restart content server.
  3. Run search, it works.
  4. Using archiver, delete records from the system (export).
  5. Run search, it works.
  6. Rebuild the index (collection rebuild cycle).
  7. Run the search and it fails.
