ODI Agent OracleDIAgent Test Fails with "ODI-1425: Agent application cannot be reached" (Doc ID 2249422.1)

When testing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Agent object, the following error is returned:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open ODI Studio.
  2. Go to Topology.
  3. Expand Agents.
  4. Open the Agent, for example "OracleDIAgent1".
  5. Click Test.

Changes

The Agent name may have been changed, or this is a new installation.

The Agent Web Context may have been changed.

== or ==

The port set in the ODI Studio Topology does not match the port of the WebLogic managed server's Listen Port
