Last updated on AUGUST 31, 2018

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In the MFT_Source_Message table, when the Source_Type column has the value of EXTERNAL, the Sender_User_Name is filled out with the sender user name.

However, when the Source_Type column has the value of SOA, the Sender_User_Name is filled out with null, i.e. the sender user name is not captured.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
That the user who invokes the transfer for source type SOA, also be captured.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an MFT transfer with source type SOA.
2. Create an instance and query the instance in MFT_Source_Message table, and there is no value in the field SENDER_USER_NAME.
