Symptoms
Instances of sun.rmi.transport.DGCAckHandler accumulate in the Java heap and can cause OutOfMemoryError and slow performance.
The problem can occur with any of the following Java SE general patch update releases:
- Java SE 8 Updates 101 and older
- Java SE 7 Updates 101 and older 1
- Java SE 6 Updates 6 Update 115 and older
1 Exception: The problem will not occur on Bundled Patch Releases (BPRs) Java 7 Update 97 b33 and Java 7 Update 101 b31
