SOA Server Taking Long Time To Start (Doc ID 2252714.1)

Symptoms

When trying to start the soa server, it is in starting status for long time. It eventually does start, however the time to start is far longer than expected.


Following errors were seen in the logs:

ORABPEL-30132

exception.code:30132
exception.type: ERROR
exception.severity: 2
exception.name: Workflow Service Engine not ready. SOA server is still starting.
exception.description: Could not obtain instance of Workflow Service Engine as the SOA server is still initializing. This exception could be due to an external application like Task form registering to SOA server before SOA server is ready.
exception.fix: Wait for SOA server to finish starting up, and retry.
