"Cannot recover key" Errors in B2B when S/MIMIE Version 3.2 is Enabled

When S/MIME 3.2 is enabled via <Patch 25597429> and <Patch 25658554>, and "S/MIME 3.2 with SHA-256 - RSA" along with the certificate is specified for the Digital Signature configuration for a Trading Partner's Channel, a "Cannot recover key" error occurs, similar to the following:
