Symptoms

When trying to create a Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) variable with data type as TEXT having more than 2000 characters, everything past character 2000 is truncated. This can be replicated when the variable is set to Refresh with a query such as:

Documentation and the Studio Help say that TEXT type variable can be of unlimited length.
