Custom Membership Message Not Showing In Email Notification or Activity Stream (Doc ID 2254822.1)

Symptoms

Using WebCenter 12.2.1.2
Custom Message added to Membership Options does not appear in the Subscription Notification email or Activity Stream when a new member is added to the Portal.
This was working fine in the 11g release but has stopped working after upgrading to 12c.

Refer to: 31.4 Composing Messages to New Members

The Custom Message is defined on the Portal's Admin Pages > Security > Members tab.  This will show the Membership Options.
Here you can customize the Membership Notification Messages for Adding Member Message, Invite Member Message, and Invite Non-Registered Users Message.
