Support THREADRANGE In Coordinated Replicat With HDFS Handler (Doc ID 2255784.1)

Last updated on MARCH 25, 2019

Oracle GoldenGate - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
While using threadrange on coordinated replicate, FFwriter replicate writes files with similar names causing overwrite.

Generated HDFS file names were not guaranteed to be unique. This was a problem for the HDFS Handler when processing using coordinated delivery if a source table was broken down across two or more replicat threads. Since the
HDFS file names were not guaranteed to be unique, a file name collision could occur, which would cascade into an ABEND of the coordinated replicat process.
