Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 10.1.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When performing a simple ldapsearch operation (with defaults alias option "-a never")  connecting to OID 10g and 11g against entries containing aliases, the results are the same.
But when running the same search made with Java JNDI (Doc ID 551341.1) program using default java environment, the results of the search running against OID 10g is different then running against OID 11g.

KM Note: Performing A Paged Search Against OID Using Java JNDI API (Doc ID 551341.1)

Changes

OID migrated from 10g to 11g.
