ODI 12c Studio Sets New Join Order when Removed By User (Doc ID 2258357.1)

Symptoms

In an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping with three or more Joins, there is a "join order" specified.

After removing the order for one of the Joins and saving the Mapping, ODI will automatically put back a join order and append this particular join to the end.


To reproduce:

  1. Open up a Mapping and select the Logical tab view
                         
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Join Order Property and set User defined value for the three "join" as follows:
