When the native Windows zip/unzip utilities are used with Oracle patch zip files, an error is seen that "The Compressed (zipped) Folder X is invalid" or "Path too Long" errors.
This issue can occur with different patch downloads for different products, but this document is illustrating the problem with the Patch Set Update (PSU) distribution released for Oracle Weblogic Server (WLS).
When the patch zip is double-clicked on, something like this error is seen:

Both the Windows native zip/unzip utility and WinZip do not work.
