Weblogic Server Hangs When Standby Thread Reaches 256 (Doc ID 2260959.1)

Symptoms

Weblogic Server in a cluster becomes unresponsive, while all the threads went into standby state and Execute thread idle count became 0.

Almost all (256 out of 261) of the fatal threads look like this (ie. they are in STANDBY state):
