The Enterprise Capture Recognition Processor is reading a Black Stripe as a Bar Code (Doc ID 2261312.1)

Symptoms

The pdf contains a black strip on the second page of a document, so Capture is considering the black strip as a bar code.  Capture should pass the pdf without assuming the black strip as bar code.  The below error occurs:

oracle.odc.exception.CaptureException: java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.odc.recognitionprocessor.BarcodePhaseIPServer.processBarcodeRecognition(BarcodePhaseIPServer.java:71)
Caused By: java.lang.NullPointerException
