ODI Salesforce.com Technology Error "The maximum number of web service calls per statement has been exceeded" and "ExecutionEngineException" in ODI 12c when Loading an Entity with Large Number of Records into Oracle (Doc ID 2262059.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to load thousands of rows from Salesforce.com to Oracle in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.6 or later, the following error occurs.

To reproduce:

  1. Create a mapping loading data from Salesforce.com to Oracle using a Salesforce.com source that has more 4000 rows
  2. Set filter to %, notice the error
  3. Set filter to A% (effectively loading only a few rows), notice that the execution is successful.
