Manage Roles Throws NullPointerException For Some Custom Roles (Doc ID 2262350.1)

When attempting to view the role details (Manage -> Roles) for some custom roles an NullPointerException is thrown in the UI.

This does not happen for every role but appears to occur only for some custom roles.

When the issue occurs, the log file shows:
