Symptoms

In ESSO-LM credentials for application templates configured as members of a Domain Sharing Group in ESSO-LM do not get updated automatically after the domain or application password is changed. ESSO-LM is supposed to automatically update the password for any application credential that is configured as a member of a Domain sharing group. Users are unable to authenticate to the affected applications with ESSO-LM after changing the the password because the password injected by ESSO-LM no longer matches the new password which is used to authenticate to the application. Users are repeatedly locked out of some applications because the incorrect credentials are injected multiple times by ESSO-LM.


Due to this issue, users are locked out of ESSO enabled applications after changing their domain password.
