Last updated on JUNE 12, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.2.1.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

New WLS 12.2.1.1. installation, following ASERVER_HOME and MSERVER_HOME naming convention for storing the server data. It is desired to configure the servers boot files (boot.properties and startup.properties) using the WLST command nmGenBootStartupProps().

When the command is executed, the files are created always in the relative root directory of the AdminServer (ASERVER_HOME) instead of the relative root directory of the Managed Server (MSERVER_HOME).
