Applies to:Identity Manager - Version 22.214.171.124.0 to 126.96.36.199.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) was not listed in the general document detailing support for SHA-2: Document 1275428.1 Support Status for SHA2 in Oracle WebLogic Server & Fusion Middleware 11g/12c and Oracle Application Server 10g.
Weblogic has provisional support for SHA-2, as do other products in the stack, but OIM was not listed and there are default OOTB keystores which make use of SHA-1. The OIM documents also show only SHA-1 examples and say nothing about SHA-2. Is the OIM Product supported / certified for use without SHA-1 and instead using SHA-2?
