Symptoms

When using a Plustek SmartOffice PS286 Plus scanner, the Capture 12c Client the client instantly crashes when selecting the "Capture" or "Capture Settings" buttons.

The Twain.log contains the following:

TWAIN_32.DLL - MESSAGE - CTwunk ::OpenServer - Starting Thunker
TWAIN_32.DLL - MESSAGE - CTwunk ::CloseServer - Why Can't We Find The Thunker Window?
