Dynamic Routing Not Working As Expected In Oracle API Gateway (Doc ID 2273164.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Trying to use dynamic routing and use OAG as a proxy for a client by following

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39820_01/doc.11121/gateway_docs/content/connection_general.html

and trying to configure use case 1. When the client makes a request to OAG, we see the following:

the path '<hostname>.<domain>:443' does not match against any of the configured URIs.

It is possible to get the functionality to work when calling OAG on HTTP and going out on HTTP but a failure occurs when calling OAG on HTTP and then going out to the remote URL on HTTPS.  Is this configuration something that is supported?
