OptimisticLockException and Duplicate or Missing Records During Upsert Using EMS (Doc ID 2274547.1)

Symptoms

On :  12.2.1.2.0 version, BAM

Under load, duplicate records are being sent to the BAM Data Object from EMS.

Also, at times, records are dropped or missing in the Data Object after EMS upsert.

The following error is seen in the log file:  org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException

Example:
Caused by: Exception [EclipseLink-5011] (Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.6.3.v20160526-8f41838): org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException
Exception Description: One or more objects cannot be updated because it has changed or been deleted since it was last read
