Symptoms
After applying 11.1.1.8 patch 17 and following all the steps in the readme, Sites will not start up. Weblogic is displaying the following error when I try to redeploy the CS application.
VALIDATION PROBLEMS WERE FOUND problem: cvc-complex-type.2.4a: Expected elements 'taglib@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee jsp-property-group@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' instead of 'security-constraint@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' here in element jsp-config@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee: problem: cvc-complex-type.2.4a: Expected elements 'taglib@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee jsp-property-group@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' instead of 'listener@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' here in element jsp-config@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee:
