Exalogic Virtual Guest Vservers In EMOC Shown As Suspended State During/After Upgrading To April 2017 PSU (Doc ID 2279062.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.2.170418 to 2.0.6.2.170418
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

After or during Exalogic Virtual April 2017 PSU patching, restarting the control vServers are shown as suspended state in Enterprise Manager Ops Center (EMOC).

Also the OVM Manager in the administration tab of the EMOC shows that the OVM manager is not reachable.

When you check the OVMM services on the EMOC vServer, it shows as running but actually it is not started properly. You can validate by trying to access the OVM BUI console, which won't be accessible.
