When the email subject field contains more than maximum of 240, these e-mail invoices get stuck in the Mailbox and the following error occurs:

Log file : ####<Jun 20, 2017, 2:48:25,799 PM PDT> <Info> <EJB> <RHQ-WCS-PRDCAP2> <capture_server1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <56909e46-63a8-4a3b-a4bd-77daaaf5fd04-00002966> <1497995305799> <[severity-value: 64] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-010227> <EJB exception occurred during invocation from home or business: oracle.odc.importmanager.ImportManagerSessionBean_dqqssc_Intf generated exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "PRD_CAPTURE"."WECIMPORTAUDIT"."SUBJECT" (actual: 255, maximum: 240)

Is it possible to alter the maximum of 240 characters?
