Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In 12.1.3, you can not get the value from LOV automatically when you enter formatted value.
You can get the value automatically if you use 12.2.x.

 Example:
  - There is an af:inputListOfValue which has a converter.
  - Value is converted to "XXX-XX-XX-XX" from "XXXXXXXXX".
  - autoSubmit is set to "true"
  - Both "100010101" and "200010101" are in the LOV

 12.1:
If you enter the value "100010101" and press Enter key, the value is converted to "100-01-01-01".
But if you enter the value "200-01-01-01" and press Enter key, "Search and Select" popup appears.

 12.2:
If you enter the value "100010101" and press Enter key, the value is converted to "100-01-01-01".
You can get the value "200-01-01-01" without popup dialog if you enter the formatted value "200-01-01-01" and press Enter key.
