The Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture 11g Client is part of the Oracle Web Center Content product stack and used to scan documents. When users try to login into Capture on some of the latest browsers they aren't able to login since most of the latest browsers stopped supporting native API's i.e. NPAPI. Browsers having issues:
- Microsoft Edge, Windows 10 machine
- Google Chrome v58.x.x.x, Windows 10 machine
- Mozilla Firefox v53.x.x, Windows 10 machine
Since capture is built on Java Applets and the latest versions are not supporting the Applet plugins we're having this issue. What is the path going forward to address this issue with Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture?
