JDBC (inc SQL Developer) Improperly Handles Q Tick Quoted Strings (Doc ID 2282024.1)

JDBC testcase submitting a SQL statement that uses the "q" quoting mechanism behaves differently in JDBC than in sqlplus.

The sqlplus block executes without error:

This works just fine when executed via SQL*Plus. But it fails when it
executed via JDBC. The ":T" in the second string is being interpreted by JDBC
as a bind variable placeholder which is incorrect.
